BODY CONTOURING;

 Body contouring is a very popular term for the woman and man who  is trying to achieve their ultimate body shape and size.  The man and woman of today are either exercising and trying to regain  their appearance  of  their youth, or wanting to use body contouring as a means for some weight reduction.    Body contouring by means of liposuction, abdominalplasty plasty, leg lift, buttock lift and buttock enhancement are several ways to achieve body contouring. Liposuction is achieved by removal of body fat in different parts of the body, which might be upper and lower abdominal areas, buttock, flanks or thighs.  The fat removed from the body may also be reinjected into the buttocks or other areas of the body that have lost fullness due to weight loss or age.

Liposuction is some cases is a perfect for breast  reduction and is a less invasive means for reduction of the breasts.   It is also excellent for the axillary breasts, or small areas in the armpits which develop with the aging patient.

Abdominalplasty is the removal of excess skin with or without muscle tightening of the abdomen.  This procedure is used for the aging man and woman who has the typical middle aged weight gain around the waist.  This procedure can also be used after childbirth and the woman who has excess skin and abdominal laxity due to the muscle becoming stretched and displaced. 

 Leg lift is usually performed on patients who have undergone extensive weight loss.  This procedure may be done in conjunction with or without the abdominalplasty procedure.

 Fat injections in the buttocks  have become popular with the younger female, but may also be used on older patients who have lost tissue in the buttock areas.  This is a relatively simple procedure to remove fat from a part of a person’s body and reinjecting it into another area.  This procedure is also used when scarring causes muscle or fat to atrophy or go away.  It has also been used with much success as a lip enhancement or filler.
